Writing Quality Tests - C1 / C2 Error Measurements

We measured the C1/C2 error rate on the recorded discs we burned at the various supported writing speeds. The software we used is PleXTools Professional v2.18, and in particular the built-in Q-Check utility. The reader was the Plextor PX-712SA (firmware v1.05).

- Summary

Most media reported very good results, marking the ND-6500A as a good quality CD writer. On the other hand, Maxell and Verbatim media reported C2 errors, but this behaviour does not apply to all media.
