We received the retail package of the OCZ 8GB Mega-Kart The exact model name is OCZUSBMGK-8GB, while there is also a 16GB version (OCZUSBMGK-16G). You don't need any extra drivers for any of the current operating systems (Windows, Linux, MacOSX). Users can buy the kit at the retail price of US$160~200. The retail package is small and consists of the 8GB Mega-kart:

Examine the card, we find the OCZ, 8GB and Mega-Kart Logos. Below the Mega-Kart logo you see the USB connector. On the right side, there is a LED that indicates when the Mega-Kart is reading or writing:

The USB connector snaps into the Mega-kart card (rear view below).

By simply pushing it out, you can "unlock" it from its "default" position. Unfortunately, the length of the USB cable is very short, so you probably need a USB extension cable if you want to have off to the side somewhere (for laptops) or you don't want to have it dangling precariously from a desktop:

OCZ advertises the flash memory as credit card sized, and this is indeed true. Just look at the picture below:

Of course, the thickness of the 8GB card is a little more than you standard credit card, but you won't have any problem fitting the 8GB Mega-Kart in your wallet:
