OCZ To Showcase Its Flash-Based Enterprise Storage Solutions at Flash Memory Summit 2013

PC components Aug 13,2013 0

OCZ Technology will showcase its range of flash-based storage solutions at this year's Flash Memory Summit (FMS), Booth #619, Santa Clara Convention Center, from August 13th through 15th. OCZ will feature a live demonstration of the ZD-XL SQL Accelerator that delivers tightly integrated hardware and software as one, optimized plug-and-play storage solution. The software-defined ZD-XL accelerates and optimizes Microsoft SQL Server database applications and its PCI Express (PCIe) solid-state drive works with intelligent acceleration and caching software to deliver the right and relevant data when the application needs it.

OCZ will also highlight the VXL Virtualization Software that provides acceleration and application-optimized flash caching for virtualized environments. Combined with a high-performance Z-Drive R4 PCIe SSD, the latest VXL 1.3 version has evolved its synchronous data mirroring capabilities and automatic server failover mechanisms to enable 'SAN-less,' highly available, fault tolerant environments based entirely on virtualized host flash. The result is uninterrupted service for business-critical applications and an enterprise solution for virtualized database deployments, email servers, or cloud computing applications.

OCZ will also preview its upcoming Intrepid 3 enterprise SATA III SSD solution based on the company's Everest 2 platform. Additional OCZ enterprise-class flash solutions to be demonstrated at FMS include the PCIe-based Z-Drive R4 Series, the SATA III-based Deneva 2 Series and the SAS-based Talos 2 Series.
