Passing to the CrystalDiskMark software, we get more indication about the drive's performance. Note that results from different version will vary, for reference we tested all available builds:

Most of the above tests, showed that the Samsung 990Pro 1TB is faster, especially at the sequential tests and mostly at the writing part.

Passing to the IOMeter test, the Samsung 990Pro 1TB takes a leap in performance with 4.000 more points (132k vs 128k) compared with the Samsung 980Pro 1TB.
