Samsung ArtPC Pulse In A Cylindrical PC And A Speaker
Samsung's new ArtPC Pulse cylindrical PC / speaker will will be released on October 28 for $1,199.99, and it is available for preorder on Amazon now. The PC is equipped with a 256GB SSD, 8GB of RAM, an AMD Radeon RX 460 graphics and a sixth-gen Core Core i5 or Core i7 processor. Obviously these specs are not justifing the high price of the ArtPC Pulse, but it seems that you're really paying for the cylinder shape and the built-in 360-degree omni-directional Harmon Kardon audio speaker.
According to the picture you see above, the ArtPC Pulse has four USB 3.0 ports, a USB Type-C port, a HDMI output, an Ethernet port, an SD card reader and a single headphone jack.
The design is fairly minimal in design and measures 5.51 x 5.51 x 12.18 inches (13.9 x 13.9 x 30.9 cm).
Preorders for both the Skylake-based Core i5 and Skylake-based Core i7 start from $1200 and $1600 from Amazon respectively.
