Sony Introduces Cyber-Shot DSC-T30
Sony announced the 7.2 megapixel, 3x optical zoom Cyber-shot DSC-T30 on Thursday, a further development of the Cyber-shot T7.
The new model is a slim camera equipped with a double anti-blur protection. The Super Steady Shot technology minimizes blur caused by shaky hands, while the new camera's high light sensitivity (ISO 1000) mode reduces blur that results from shooting at faster shutter speeds.
The camera also features Sony's Clear RAW noise reduction system, which helps counter picture noise associated with high-sensitivity shooting.
The DSC-T30's slide show with music function can be viewed on the camera's three-inch, Photo LCD Plus screen.
This is also Sony's first T-series model to feature selectable color modes. It also includes Sony's ultra-fast Real Imaging Processor circuitry which increases the camera's efficiency for quicker start-up, faster shot-to-shot times, higher-quality movie capture, and longer battery life, according to Sony.
The camera that can be seen on the picture above comes with 58MB of internal memory.
The Cyber-shot DSC-T30 camera will be available next month and will sell for about $500.
