StarForce Technologies expanding copy protection services in Asia

StarForce Technologies expanding copy protection services in Asia

General Interest Oct 4,2002 0

StarForce Technologies, the expert in copy protection solutions, and MicroGraphics, the #1 provider of software development tools in India, announced today that the two companies are working together to deliver a complete set of copy protection products to the Asian continent. MicroGraphics provides an impressive suite of technical solutions, including software development, modeling, project management, multimedia, web imaging, and many other popular tools. MicroGraphics not only offers these products to Indian software developers, but also backs them up with excellent technical support and consulting services. This has built the company its solid reputation. The Indian software industry, which MicroGraphics has been successfully serving for years, remains highly vulnerable to piracy, and that's why the company decided to bring StarForce copy protection solutions on board to prevent illegal software reproduction and to further satisfy MicroGraphics' numerous customers.

Becoming a StarForce authorized distributor and solutions provider was a natural step for MicroGraphics who has been offering protection services since 1999. With StarForce, MicroGraphics expands its product portfolio by adding copy protection for software distributed on CD-ROM and CD-R to the Indian software market. Educational, entertainment, and multimedia software publishers and developers across India and neighboring countries are being delivered a complex set of copy protection solutions for their software projects. 'I think, by partnering with StarForce, we will be able to provide a solution which is not yet implemented in Indian Software Industry i.e. Protecting the Developer from Illegal Copying of their Applications that reside on CD-ROM.' says Rakesh Gupta, MicroGraphics' CEO.

StarForce Technologies is pleased to become a MicroGraphics' partner. "MicroGraphics is the leader in providing software tools to the Indian developers. Our partnership with the company allows us to not only conquer this market but expand our horizons even beyond", StarForce Technologies' CEO. "This company consists of talented and energetic individuals and we believe we can achieve our business objectives faster and easier through our combined efforts." The partnership was easy to establish because both companies are committed to deliver exceptional customer support, maintain a productive business relationship, and fight piracy, thus keeping software developers content.

MicroGraphics will provide StarForce copy protection systems: StarForce Professional 2.0 is designed to use against illegitimate copying of mass-produced software distributed on CD-ROM and intended for software developers, publishers and replication plants. StarForce CD-R 2.0 is a one-of-a-kind product developed to use against illegitimate copying of software distributed on CD-R and intended for small batches of software and quick turn-around duplication jobs needing protection. Other innovative solutions include StarForce Basic Edition, fast and easy protection for budget software, StarForce Professional 3.0, an ultra powerful tool for the most vulnerable applications, and protection for PDF files, which are due to be officially released in October 2002. Complete information about StarForce products can be found on MicroGraphics' and StarForce Technologies' websites.
