TDK Demonstrates VeloCD ReWriter At Comdex '99

"..TDK is set to demonstrate its first ever CD ReWriter at Comdex '99. Capable of 8x write, 4x rewrite and 32x data read speeds, the new veloCD ReWriter is also designed for bit-perfect 20x "ripping"' - the fastest most accurate digital audio extraction performance in the industry. TDK will be demonstrating the unit's capabilities at booth No. L5023.

With its 8x writing speed, the veloCD ReWriter can record a full CD in just 9 minutes using All-Speed(TM) TDK Certified Plus CD-R discs.

The TDK veloCD Model 8432ai ReWriter will be available in January 2000 at an estimated suggested retail price of $349.." NULL
