Transcend Launches New Lineup of PCIe 4.0 M.2 SSDs To Better Empower AIoT and Embedded Applications

Enterprise & IT Apr 11,2024 0

Transcend Information Inc. (Transcend®), a premier manufacturer of embedded memory products and storage solutions, recently released a new trio of PCIe 4.0 M.2 SSDs – the MTE760T (2280), the MTE480T (2242), and the MTE380T (2230). Featuring a slim and compact design that fits perfectly into a variety of embedded systems, these SSDs offer dynamic and reliable performance for various applications and industries, such as AIoT, edge computing, automated manufacturing, digital entertainment, and smart retail.

PCIe 4.0: High-Speed Dynamic Performance
Equipped with 112-layer 3D NAND flash, Transcend’s MTE760T, MTE480T, and MTE380T all utilize the PCIe 4x4 interface that delivers up to 5,000MB/s of data transfer speeds. Not to mention that added features such as LDPC ECC function, Power Shield, and the Dynamic Thermal Throttling mechanism, help to ensure greater system stability and storage reliability overall.

Enhanced Durability For Extreme Environments
Transcend’s MTE760T, MTE480T, and MTE380T each feature anti-sulfur resistors and Corner Bond technology, allowing them to be able to withstand chemical pollution, external vibration, and extreme temperatures. The PCBs are fortified with 30 µ” gold fingers, ensuring stable signal transmission as well as drive endurance. Having undergone the mandatory in-house testing process, the SSDs can operate stably in extended temperature range (-20°C~75°C), and wide-temperature (-40°C~85°C) models can be provided upon request.

Advanced Data Security For Greater Peace of Mind
Transcend’s MTE760T, MTE480T, and MTE380T are all compliant with TCG Opal 2.0 and IEEE 1667 standards, and also utilize AES 256-bit hardware-based encryption to safeguard data, with additional support for Microsoft® eDrive. Moreover, with TCG Opal Toolbox, users can set passwords, set the locking range, conduct pre-boot authentication, and access many other advanced security functions.

As a leading brand in the field of embedded memory and storage products, Transcend is committed to being a global innovator at the forefront of memory technology. We have a strong research & development team and experienced tech support team deployed globally, and our manufacturing base in Taiwan allows us to provide competitive storage solutions that help us stay at the forefront of the global market.

Transcend’s MTE760T, MTE480T, and MTE380T SSDs all come with a three-year limited warranty.
