Ubisoft at E3

Gaming Jun 16,2015 0

Ubisoft has revealed quite a long list of games at this year's E3, which includes the "Assassin's Creed" and "Just Dance," as well as new titles. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands

This is a new entry in the acclaimed Ghost Recon series and the franchise’s first open world title. Ghost Recon Wildlands is scheduled to be released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and Windows PC.

Set a few years from now, Ghost Recon Wildlands lets players lead a team of Ghosts, a four-player U.S. Elite Special Operations unit, on a covert mission to eliminate the Santa Blanca drug cartel, an underworld power and growing global threat within Bolivia.

The game gives players freedom. Players can engage in the entire game solo or team up with up to three friends in co-op to roam freely in this gigantic playground. Players will have complete flexibility in how they tackle the game’s story, missions and objectives, as well as their approach, whether it’s stealth, distraction, tactical or frontal assault, or a combination of styles.

Tom Clancy's The Division

This online shooter was first announced back in 2013, but the developers chose to wait until the game's polished enough for release rather than letting an unfinished title hit the market. This year, Ubisoft has revealed that it comes with a multiplayer mode called DarkZone. The Division is now slated for release on March 8th, 2016 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, and you're guaranteed access to the beta if you pre-order the game.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Siege

Ubisoft revealed two new things about Rainbow Six: Siege on stage. First, "Six," the team's leader, will be voiced by actress Angela Bassett. Second, it will feature a mode called "Terrohunt," which pits a solo player or multiplayer teams against AI enemies. The game's beta will be available on all platforms starting on September 24th.

Just Dance 2016

The latest installment in the best-selling music game franchise, "Just Dance 2016" will be released on October 20, 2015 in the US and October 22, 2015 in EMEA (October 23, 2015 in the UK) on all motion-control gaming platforms, including Nintendo’s Wii and Wii U system, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. Just Dance 2016 will feature tracks from artists like Mark Ronson Ft. Bruno Mars, Jason Derulo, Meghan Trainor, Calvin Harris Ft. John Newman and Lady Gaga.

The free Just Dance Controller App enables players on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Wii U to use their Apple, Android, or Windows Phone devices to play the game without any peripherals or added console cameras. The app transforms the player’s phone into a motion sensor that tracks the accuracy of their moves and allows them to navigate through the game.

Introduced this year, "Just Dance Unlimited" is a new subscription streaming service available for new-gen owners that allows players on Just Dance 2016 to access exclusive songs and the best tracks from previous Just Dance games. By subscribing to Just Dance Unlimited, players will enjoy more than 150 songs at launch and more throughout the year.

Just Dance 2016 also brings back features like Sweat & Playlists, along with all-new game modes exclusive to new-gen consoles, including:

  • Dance Quests Mode: Players can unlock dance quests for a chance to "beat the game" for the first time In each quest, players will play a series of three songs for a chance to advance to the next set of dance quest challenges.
  • Dance Party Mode: In the Dance Party mode, players can dance along with their friends and family in the classic rival mode or dance together to get the highest collective score as a group in the first ever co-op mode.
  • World Video Challenge: The all-new World Video Challenge allows players to send videos of their performances to challenge friends from all around the world and dance to their scores

Anno 2205

This is the sixth installment of the strategy city-building series. Anno 2205 is set in a futuristic world, and will allow players to leave earth venturing into outer space for the first time in the series. Currently in development at Blue Byte, an Ubisoft studio, the game will release worldwide on PC on November 3rd 2015.

In Anno 2205 players will join mankind’s next step into the future, with the promise of building a better tomorrow by expanding into space. Players must develop rich metropolises on Earth that are capable of launching missions to the moon as they race to establish production colonies on the lunar surface. By mining the moon’s resources to send back down to Earth, Anno 2205 players will receive the benefits of technology advancements. The tools will help to expand their cities and transform them into thriving metropolises.

Anno 2205 will be available in three versions: the Standard Edition which includes the full game, and the Anno 2205 Gold and Collector’s Editions, which extend the experience with additional content.

Trials Fusion: Awesome Level Max

Ubisoft calls Awesome Level Max its biggest DLC yet for Trials Fusion, adding an odd unicorn-riding cat and 30 new tracks to the game. It will be available from the Xbox Store, PlayStation Store, and as a digital download for Windows as soon as July 14th.

For Honor

This is a new IP mixing skill, strategy and team play with melee combat. For Honor is in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.

Developed by Ubisoft Montreal, For Honor drops gamers into the chaos of a battlefield during an ongoing war between three Great Factions: the bold Knights (the Legions), the brutal Vikings (the Warborn) and the enigmatic Samurai (the Chosen). For every battle, players can choose which warrior they want to embody amongst the unique Heroes from this pantheon and use their distinct skills and weapons to fight for land, people and honor, decimating all soldiers, archers and opposing Heroes who stand in their way.

For Honor includes both a multiplayer and a single-player campaign.

Trackmania Turbo

This is the latest installment of the Trackmania franchise developed by Nadeo, a Ubisoft studio. Trackmania Turbo marks the first time in the series that the game will be available on new-gen consoles, as it will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC on November 26 2015 in
EMEA (November 27 2015 in the UK) and December 1 2015 in the US.

Trackmania Turbo features an "easy to learn, hard to master" gameplay style that relies on time attack racing where players set their own limits and challenges. The gameplay revolves around the perfect combination of matchbox car fantasy on a massive scale, focusing on the pursuit of the perfect run around the track. Players can test their skills in the campaign mode which includes more than 200 head-spinning tracks set in four environments each with their own gameplay style.

Trackmania Turbo also introduces an all-new mode. Double Driver is a co-op mode which challenges two players to coordinate and control the
same car with two controllers. It also implements a new systemic music feature, where the music is tied to the racing experience, creating its own variations of intensity and dramatic drops.

Trackbuilder is a feature that blends arcade-style racing with a customization toolbox. Players can use Trackbuilder to design an infinite
number of unique and creative tracks or try their luck by generating random ones.

Additionally, Ubisoft announced that Trackmania Turbo is currently being developed for Virtual Reality devices as a separate project that will be released at a later date than the standard version.

South Park: The Fractured but Whole

A sequel to 2014’s South Park: The Stick of Truth is currently in development. Players will once again assume the role of The New Kid and join South Park favorites Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman in a new hilarious and outrageous adventure.

Developed by Ubisoft San Francisco, "South Park: The Fractured but Whole" will enable players to delve into the crime-ridden underbelly of South Park with Coon and Friends.

The game will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC.

Assassin's Creed Syndicate

Syndicate is set in the midst of the Industrial Revolution in London and puts players in control of Jacob Frye, who uses a classy cane-sword as a weapon. It will be available on October 23rd, 2015 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. As a nice bonus, you can also play as Jacob's twin sister Evie.
