Use your DVD burner just like any other hard drive
InstantBurn is a packet-writing solution that lets you operate your DVD burner as if it was another hard drive or a huge floppy disk.
Once launched, the program operates in the background, thus eliminating the need to worry about using DVD burning software.
You can simply drag and drop files onto your DVD drive located under My Computer. It's so easy, that if you can open, save, cut, copy, paste, and rename files and folders, then you will find InstantBurn a cinch to use. By following the very familiar drag and drop operation of Microsoft Windows, burning (via dragging) data onto your DVD disc will be unequivocally effortless.
Extensive Rewritable Burner upport
InstantBurn supports CD-RW, DVD-RW, and DVD+RW burners and discs. InstantBurn is more efficient than pre-masteringsoftware, because you can write data by file onto a disc until it is full.
Disc Erasing
InstantBurn provides two options for erasing disc content: Normal Erase which erases the entire disc; and, Quick Erase, which only erases file information.
Temporary Disc Lead-out
By creating a temporary disc lead-out while ejecting a disc, InstantBurn lets you play partially formatted discs on a ROM drive. You can choose to eject your disc without a temporary lead-out, but you will be limited to playing on rewritable drives.
Handling Data like a Removable Disk
With InstantBurn, making a rewritable CD or DVD is as easy as using a floppy or other type of removable storage. You can drag and drop files from folders, send unwanted files to the Recycle Bin for deletion, rename files, and change file property information.
Verification Function
The Verification function checks whether data has been written properly, ensuring the reliability of the data.
Multiple UDF Standards Support
InstantBurn supports UDF (Universal Disk Format) versions 1.02, 1.5, 2.0, and 2.01.
