ViewSonic 86-inch 4K UHD Commercial Display Retails for Less $6,000

ViewSonic 86-inch 4K UHD Commercial Display Retails for Less $6,000

Consumer Electronics Jun 6,2018 0

ViewSonic introduced at Infocom the CDE8600, an 86-inch, 4K Ultra HD commercial display.

The ViewSonic CDE8600 comes with an embedded Android SOC that allows users to install Android-based apps for content broadcasting, while the built-in browser displays internet content without the need for a PC. The CDE8600 commercial display includes a multi-core media player that allows photo, music and video playback while the 16GB of internal storage provides the capacity for additional files and multimedia content to be distributed. Equipped with Intel's Open Pluggable Specification (OPS), the CDE8600 provides cable-free integration for easier installation. It can also connect to an external media player to support various multimedia experiences.

Bundled with the vBoard collaboration software, as well as a ViewBoard Cast and vController software, the ViewSonic CDE8600 makes it easy to collaborate and share content. vBoard is a collaboration software that lets users write, highlight, edit and transform documents and images. ViewBoard Cast ensures that content can be shared from any mobile device to the CDE8600. The vController software offers maintenance and interfaces for remote management through a PC server or laptop. The CDE8600 provides network connection options for content streaming with an integrated RJ45 connection, as well as optional WiFi capabilities.

With a variety of connectivity options, including 4 HDMI Inputs, HDMI Out, VGA, USB, IR and RJ45, the ViewSonic CDE8600 also comes with dual 20W speakers. The CDE8600 features a native 4K (3840x2160) resolution, a brightness level of 400 nits, wide viewing angles, as well as flicker-free and blue light filter technologies.

It will be available this month for $5,599.00 (MSRP).
