So how the whole system works? Well you don’t feel anything during your day (nap) or night sleep. The Sleep Analyzer needs to be constant in power (if you remove it and re-power it, will calibrate itself again so take notice and don’t sleep right away), which may bother some people, but it has no build-in battery, which could be dangerous after all for long term use. The device doesn’t use the Wi-Fi function during the night, so you don’t have to have it enabled, but only after you awake up. You can view reports/stats either in the Android/IOS app or at the Web. Lets see what our Night sleep reported...
Good Night Sleep
When you have a good night sleep, you will get a good (green) score. The overall score is weighted from various sub-scores which are listed below
As we can see there are various conditions which the app takes in mind before presenting the total score. Each has its own in depth explanations and tips.
The Withings Sleep Analyzer can also monitor your heart rate during the night sessions:
as well as breathing disturbances:
An important stat is where you snore or not...well now you can find out what happened last night...
In case you had a nap, this will be recorded as well, while this won’t be taken in account for your daily sleep score.
After all, you might need to export all the above stats to a full PDF report, now you can do it with the "Share a Health Report" function within the Withings Health App
