EMI Music Brings Music Videos to Hulu
EMI Music has reached an agreement with Hulu to offer concerts and music videos from its artists to Hulu viewers.
The deal, which will include content from artists on EMI's labels including Virgin, Capitol and Blue Note, begins today with exclusive content from Norah Jones, whose new album, The Fall debuts this week.
The Norah Jones page on Hulu is available at www.hulu.com. Also available is the entire repertoire of Norah Jones music videos, including her latest, Chasing Pirates, videos from her 2007 release, Not Too Late, as well as those from quadruple platinum 2004 release Feels Like Home and her landmark debut album, Come Away With Me.
"We think Hulu is an excellent, high-quality environment and a great place to connect with fans. We look forward to making more content available from other artists as well," said Ronn Werre, President, EMI Music Services and COO, EMI Music North America. "We're delighted to add Hulu to the growing number of platforms EMI is working with to give fans more of what they're looking for."
EMI also has an official channel on Google-owned video-sharing site YouTube.
Hulu is a fast-growing video site featuring full-length television shows and movies. The site features only professional content and does not show user-generated material. Hulu can currently only be viewed by Internet users in the United States but plans to eventually expand worldwide.
