ASUS Announces Strix GTX 750 Ti OC
The GTX 750 Ti is a great mid-range graphics card, and ASUS has improved the design with its semi-passive Strix technology on the new Strix GTX 750 Ti OC. Strix GTX 750 Ti OC is packed with ASUS technologies, including DirectCU II for cooler, quieter and faster performance, and 0dB-cooling technology for light gameplay in total silence and Blu-ray movie playback that’s free from distracting background noise.
Strix GTX 750 Ti OC is fitted with 2GB of high-speed GDDR5 video memory and races along at boosted speeds of up to 1202MHz.
When playing at high-definition (HD) resolutions of up to 1920 x 1080 pixels, and in environmental temperatures of up to 50°C, the Strix GTX 750 Ti OC automatically stop its fan — allowing gamers to enjoy titles like Counter-Strike Online in absolute (0dB) silence.
Strix GTX 750 Ti OC also includes GPU Tweak, an ASUS-exclusive tool that enables users to control GPU speeds, voltages and video-memory clock speeds in real time.
According to Asus, compared to the Nvidia reference design the OC is up to 7.7% faster (plus GPU Tweak support to push it even further) and the DirectCU II cooler is 58% cooler and 3X quieter. Meanwhile the Super Alloy Power hardware extends lifestyle around 2.5X longer too.
The Strix GTX 750 Ti OC will be available worldwide from the end of July 2014.
