Kindle Owners get Access To Washington Post app
Amazon will start offering a free Washington Post app to Kindle users for six months. The move could help the newspaper expand its audience of the Post.
"This unique app reflects the culture of innovation and experimentation at today's Washington Post," said Fred Ryan, publisher at chief executive at the Post.
The app will be made available as part of a free over-the-air software update for Kindle Fire tablets. According to the Post, the cost for access to the news app will be $1 per month for six months after the free period.
Jeff Bezos is the owner of both Washington Post and the founder of Amazon.com.
