Analyst Sees An Upcoming Galaxy Note8 With A Bigger Screen, Dual Cameras
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claims that that the Samsung's Galaxy Note8 will sport a 6.4-inch screen and the dual camera system, a feature that is missing from the S8 model.
Even with a 6.2-inch screen on the S8+, Samsung has already confirmed that a new phablet is on the way later this year.
Flagship phone analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI has weighed in on the Note8, saying that the device will likely pack a 6.4-inch screen and the same Snapdragon 835 chip as the S8. In addition, a dual camera system would be considered as the most important upgrade in the Note8. According to Kuo, the new phablet will combine a 12MP wide-angle lens with a 13MP telephoto one, along with 3x optical zoom and dual optical image stabilization.
Kuo also notes that the Note8 will stick with the S8's rear-facing fingerprint sensor, though he doesn't say whether it will be moved to a more accessible position.
Presumably, the phone will also include support for Samsung's S-Pen on board, like previous Note models have done.
