LG X Power 2 Smartphone Packs A Huge Battery
LG Electronics plans to release the 'X Power 2' (LGM-X320) smartphone in early June, equipped with a large 4500mAh battery.
Priced at South Korea at about 300,000 KRW ($265), the phone's 4500mAh battery capacity is 50% bigger compared to the capacity of Galaxy S8's battery (3000mAh), and LG G6's (3300mAh).
LG claims that consumers will be able to watch videos for about 15 hours or browse through internet for about 18 hours. A 'rapid charging' function can also charge the battery to its 50% (2250mAh) in just an hour.
The device first appeared at MWC 2017 in February and it is not expected to be released elsewhere except South Korea.
The X Power 2 has a 5.5-inch display, a 13-megapixel rear-camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. Its rear-camera features LG's 'zero shutter lag' function that allows pictures to be shot immediately as soon as a button is pressed.
The Android 7.0 also features a front LED flash.
