Google Inbox has begun notifying users of the pending shut down within the next 15 says, following the fate of Google Plus.

Google Inbox was an experiment from the start, but despite its features like filtering and focused inboxes, it was yet another Gmal service. And once the Gmail app integrated more features, Google Inbox made no sense to use it.

Google has also announced the shuttering of Allo and of course Google+. Google Plus was initially supposed to be a secure alternative to Facebook, but Google presented it as an essential part of a brand in order to maintain its online visibility and most recently, it fell prey to a security bug.

Allo also never found a foothold with users, trying to compete in a crowded communication market dominated by Facebook products, Snapchat disappearing messages and more secure apps like Signal and Telegram.
