CIS Technology announces new 24X re-write speed models of Arrgo 52X CDRW drive

CIS Technology announces new 24X re-write speed models of Arrgo 52X CDRW drive

General Interest Nov 11,2002 0

The Arrgo 52X CDRW utilizes multiple writing strategy (PCAV and CLV) and CAV reading strategy to significantly shorten recording time and achieve higher average recording speed to maximum rewriting speed of 24X and writing/read speed of 52X. It provides auto-detected disc speed type feature that provides different recording method to reach the maximum speed till 52X. The CD rewriter also provides SuperLink technology to prevent buffer under-run problems and eliminates the creation of unusable discs.

The drive occupies minimal system resources, allowing the PC to operation and be available for other applications even during the recording process. The drive also features the Double Suspension technology. The technology is designed to minimize the vibration caused by spindle motor, components and PC cases. And handle seriously unbalanced discs. It also stabilizes the pick-up head, both horizontally and vertically, achieving more precise tracking and focusing while reducing vibration and noise caused by high-revolution spindle motors. It also utilizes the stepping motor to achieve the random access time less than 90ms.

The Arrgo 52X CDRW is available for shipment now.
