Pixel 4 Series Detailed by Best Buy Canada
The official announcement of Googel's Pixel 4 smartphone is expected on Tuesday, but Best Buy in Canada briefly listed the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL for pre-order.
A dedicated product page, which appeared online but since then it has been removed, noted the key features and specs of the upcomong smartphones.
Guys at 9to5google.com were fast enough to spot the specific Best Buy page and keep some screenshots of it. According to the page, both the regular Pixel 4 and its XL counterpart have dual rear cameras (12-megapixel main and 16-megapixel telephoto with 4K video capture,), 90Hz Smooth Displays and Snapdragon 855 processors with 6GB of RAM. In terms of screens, the Pixel 4 has a 5.7-inch Full HD+ and the Pixel 4 XL a 6.3-inch Quad HD+ OLED.
Google also touted the “software in Pixel 4” as helping you take “studio-like photos anywhere” in a point-and-shoot manner. The redesigned Google Camera 7.1 with a cleaner interface was shown off. Another photography highlight suggested unlimited “original quality” storage in Google Photos.
Pixel 4 has also Quick Gestures, letting you get things done without having to touch your phone.
The last point is Assistant, which allows you to “send texts, get directions, and even plan your day, all from the palm of your hand.”
Best Buy's pre-order page only allowed deposits on 64GB versions in black or white, although 128GB and coral-colored Pixel 4 models are expected.
