After the new firmware release for 8x DVD-R and 4x DVD-RW recording, CDRinfo has updated its hardware review about DRU-530A. The updated page is available HERE . According to our tests, after upgrading the unit which the latest firmware, the DRU-530A it is now confirmed dual 8x DVD recorder. However there are some compatibility issues to be discussed.
