CyberLink's PowerDVD Linux version, to be bundled in Turbolinux OS
CyberLink, announced that PowerDVD Linux, the Linux version of the award-winning PowerDVD playback software, will be included in Turbolinux 10 F OS.
PowerDVD Linux is based on the Windows version of PowerDVD and offers the following features:
-2-channel Dolby Audio
-Dual Subtitle Display
-Complete DVD navigation functions -Changeable skin technology. -Low CPU consumption, allowing users to play a DVD and run other applications at the same time.
Release of Turbolinux 10 F OS featuring PowerDVD Linux will be in May.28th for Japan. Shipment in the U.S. and China is scheduled at the end of June. Also CyberLink is developing a Linux version of PowerCinema, a home theater software capable of video, photo, and music playback, in addition to burning DVDs, and its operable via a remote control.
