BenQ Receives OEM Orders for DVD Burners from TEAC

BenQ has received OEM orders for Super Multi DVD from TEAC, with shipments to begin this quarter, according to market sources. BenQ has had an OEM relationship with TEAC in the past for producing CD-ROM drives, CD-RW burners and DVD Dual burners.

Schedulled to hit the market in September, the BenQ DQ60 super-multi drive features writing and reading in 3 DVD formats (DVD+/- and DVD-RAM) and CD format.
