Apple To Announce New iPhones In Sept.9 Event
Once again Apple will announcer the new iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S Plus and possibly a new version of its Apple TV set top box in a September 9th event to be held at San Francisco's Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. The headline news of the event will be the launch of the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus alongside iOS 9.
The phone's biggest features have already been extensively leaked and iOS 9 is available on public beta, so the real excitement may actually lie elsewhere.
The invitation the company has send out to the press reads: "Hey Siri, give us a hint," fueling rumours that a much upgraded Apple TV with Siri-powered voice control will be the real star of the show.
Rumors say that the cameras of the two new iPhones will get a bump from eight megapixels to 12MP, along with an improved image signal processor that's supposed to counteract any negative side effects of the increase in pixel density. Apple may also add 4K video recording to the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, making them the first iPhones able to record at that resolution.
There is also every chance Apple will offer updates to its MacBook ranges so all incorporate Force Touch.
