ADATA HD830 External HDD Withstands up to 3000 Kg Of Downward Pressure

PC components Sep 13,2018 0

ADATA is launching the HD830, a rugged external hard disk drive (HDD) featuring an ultra-sturdy aluminum exterior, triple-layer construction, and IP68 rating.

The external HDD features a triple-layer construction and it's waterproof and dustproof. If you accidentally drop it in water, no worries. It can handle submergence in 2 meters of water for 120 minutes.

In addition, the HD830 meets the U.S. Military's MIL-STD-810G 516.6 standard and can survive falls from up to 1.22 meters.

The three-layered structure includes a tough silicone casing, shock-absorbing buffer, and cushioned mounting that keeps the drive in place.

Dropping or shaking a HDD may result in bad sectors and errors. The HD830 features shock sensors that will alert you when an impact or vibration is detected with a blinking red light.

The HD830 comes in capacities of up to 5TB and it is backed by a 3-year warranty.
