AOpen bundles MedioStream's neoDVDstandard with new DVD drives
MedioStream, a leading provider of PC-based software for recording video to DVDs and CDs, today announced that its neoDVDstandard software is now bundled worldwide with AOpen's new DVD+RW/+R drives as part of its DVD authoring solution. The contract with AOpen adds another name to the impressive list of companies that bundle MedioStream products.
AOpen is an established market leader in PC components and peripherals, from motherboards to monitors, to multimedia add-on cards and more. AOpen's new DVRW2412PRO DVD+RW/+R drive is one of the fastest on the market, requiring only five minutes to write 1GB of data onto a disc. AOpen is also including a trial version of neoDVDstandard in all of its CD-RW drives shipped worldwide, allowing consumers to experience the fun of making video CDs or DVDs even if they do not have a DVD burner.
"MedioStream is very pleased to work with AOpen to deliver the fastest and easiest DVD authoring solution to its customers as part of AOpen's latest product bundle," said Gordon Doran, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at MedioStream. "With neoDVD in the mix, AOpen's PC product line, already the most extensive in the industry, will continue to offer consumers the latest in technology development at competitive prices."
AOpen selected MedioStream for its commitment to making DVD authoring a simple process, and MedioStream's track record of being the first in the industry to introduce innovative features such as Direct-to-Disc Recording and Video Recording (+VR) support.
"We're impressed with MedioStream's ability to deliver a sophisticated DVD authoring solution without compromising ease of use, so that our customers can make their own DVD or VCD in a simple, straightforward process," said David Ni, Manager of AOpen. "Bundling neoDVDstandard with our new DVD+RW/+R and CD-RW drives enhances our product and lets users get more out of their drives."
MedioStream's neoDVDstandard is currently bundled with Sony's latest generation of DVD+RW drives sold worldwide, select Ricoh DVD+RW/+R drives in Europe and Japan, as well as Hitachi's new Prius Deck PCs.
