Apple Faces New Fine From France: report
France’s competition watchdog will soon fine Apple over anti-competitive behaviour in its distribution and sales network, according to Reuters.
The competition authority will give a decision on the matter on Monday, the report claims, adding that the content or the size of the fine is unknown.
The French competition authority declined to comment.
The French antitrust watchdog has already fined Google 150 million euros ($167 million) for opaque advertising rules.
France’s competition authority has been alleging that aspects of the Apple's sales and distribution practices were violating French competition law.
