ASUS ROG Announced The G551 and G771 Gaming Laptops

ASUS today announced the Republic of Gamers (ROG) G Series G551 and G771 gaming laptops, which represent a performance leap over their predecessors, with up to Intel Core i7 processors and NVIDIA GeForce GTX graphics. The G Series laptops feature wide-angle IPS displays, and provide gamers with Full HD visuals. There's also 4K/UHD-ready Trinity Display output for multi-monitor gaming or multitasking.

The new G Series laptops are powered by up to Intel Core i7 processors and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 850M/860M graphics. It comes in 15- and 17-inch guises (G551 and G771) and can be specced with up to a Full HD (1920 x 1080 resolution) display. The IPS displays have wide 178-degree viewing angles. Trinity Display technology enables users to hook their G Series up to three other external displays via HDMI 1.4 or Mini DisplayPort.

SonicMaster Premium provides high-fidelity audio while ROG AudioWizard features five modes with settings tailored to suit different game genres. The G Series laptops also incorporate a headphone amplifier.
