CyberLink BD Solution Bundled With HLDS' Blu-ray Disc Rewriter

Optical Storage Aug 8,2006 0

CyberLink announced today that CyberLink BD Solution is being shipped with HLDS’ latest BD-RE burners, the GBW-H10N drive series. CyberLink's BD Solution includes applications for file archiving and media burning directly to disc. The suite features data burning software Power2Go, archiving software PowerBackup, and packet-writing software InstantBurn. Users can also enjoy DVD playback via PowerDVD, and create stylish DVD menus with authoring software PowerProducer.

“The Blu-ray Disc format represents a major advance in the means to store data and high-definition video content,” said D.Y Roh, Senior specialist of HLDS.

"By working with HLDS, CyberLink is able to offer customers our leading software for the latest rewritable BD burners, providing an effective method for storing huge amounts of data on Blu-ray Discs, authoring videos and photos to DVD, and playing DVDs on the PC,” said Alice H. Chang, CEO of CyberLink.

Blu-ray Disc burners and drives are backward compatible with CD and DVD formats, supporting burning and playback of all three disc types.

More information about CyberLink’s support for next-generation disc formats, and the complete range of CyberLink software, is available at www.cyberlink.com.
