Firefox Update Includes Security Fixes
Mozilla.org updated Firefox to version 2.0.0.4 Thursday, mainly featuring security fixes.
Firefox 2.0.0.4 adds support for Windows Vista as well as for
Afrikaans (af) and Belarusian (be) languages.
The five security fixes listed in the release notes:
- XUL Popup Spoofing
- XSS using addEventListener (High)
- Path Abuse in Cookies
- Persistent Autocomplete Denial of Service
- Crashes with evidence of memory corruption (rv:1.8.0.12/1.8.1.4) (Critical)
