Foxconn at Computex 2007
Specially engineered enthusiast products, HDMI solutions, and first DX10 integrated graphics solution will be key highlights at Foxconn's booth at Computex this year.
Among the products on display will be a new range of motherboards based on the Intel 3 Series chipset family. The "Core3 Series" motherboards focus on reliability, ease of use and wider connectivity options for the mainstream performance segment, and include one of the first DirectX 10 capable integrated graphics solutions.
HDMI ready solutions and brand new extreme performance motherboards for both Intel and AMD platforms will also be debuting at the show. These high-end solutions have been specially engineered for gamers and enthusiasts.
Latest graphics card solutions
Foxconn?s graphics card business now includes the latest NVIDIA 8600 and 8500 solutions with Foxconn?s unique cooling solution.
Factory "overclocked" versions of the 8600GTS and 8600GT are already available in certain regions, with 700/2200MHz and 560/560MHz (Core/Memory clock) speeds.
Foxconn will be introducing several new cooler products at Computex 2007, including heatpipe and fin stack solutions.
Among the new models will be chassis which can accommodate standard ATX motherboards, but with an overall chassis volume of little over 21litres. Most models include slide-in/out motherboard trays, folded edges, slide & lock drive bays, and other tool-less features.
With exact product details not to be revealed until the show, Aaron Chang, Foxconn Motherboard Product Manager commented that for Foxconn, Computex 2007 "was more important than ever" as a launch platform for new motherboards.
