Google said on Sunday it had agreed to buy artificial intelligence company DeepMind Technologies Ltd. Google did not disclose any details about the agreement, although reports indicate a $500 million purchase price.

London-based DeepMind uses machine learning learning algorithms for applications such as simulations and games.
