Google+ Gets Face Recognition Feature

Google+ Gets Face Recognition Feature

Enterprise & IT Dec 10,2011 0

Engineers of the Google+ Photos team have developed the "Find My Face" feature on Google+, an easier way to tag photos of yourself and your friends. By turning on Find My Face, Google+ can prompt people you know to tag your face when it appears in photos. Of course, you have control over which tags you accept or reject, and you can turn the feature on or off in Google+ settings.

The feature, which will be rolling out over the next few days, may raise privacy concerns as it happened when social networking rival Facebook added facial recognition ("Tag Suggestions" feature) in an opt-out style this year.
