Google Launches Think Quarterly Online Magazine

Google Launches Think Quarterly Online Magazine

Enterprise & IT Mar 24,2011 0

Google has launched a quarterly online magazine, Think Quarterly, out of its operations in the U.K. and Ireland. Google regularly communicates with our business customers via email newsletters, updates on its official blogs, and printed materials. On this occasion, Google says that it has sent a short book about data, called Think Quarterly, to a small number of our UK partners and advertisers.

The first issue of Think Quarterly is already freely available online and is dedicated to data, including data obesity, data impotence, data overload and open data.

Speaking about the first issue of the online magazine, Matt Brittin Managing Director, UK & Ireland Operations, Google, said:

"At Google, we often think that speed is the forgotten 'killer application' - the ingredient that can differentiate winners from the rest. We know that the faster we deliver results, the more useful people find our service.

But in a world of accelerating change, we all need time to reflect. Think Quarterly is a breathing space in a busy world. It's a place to take time out and consider what's happening and why it matters.

Our first issue is dedicated to Data - amongst a morass of information, how can you find the magic metrics that will help transform your business? We hope that you find inspiration, insights, and more, in Think Quarterly."

Google said that it has no plans to start selling copies. "Although Think Quarterly remains firmly aimed at Google's partners and advertisers, if you're interested in the subject of data then please feel free to read on.." reads the magazine's brief "About" section.

The next issue of Think Quarterly will be available in May, followed by the third issue in July and the fourth in October.
