Chinese Huawei and Xiaomi are both planning to release sub-13-inch 2-in-1 devices, according to a report. Chinese-language NetEase claims that Huawei Device is set to launch its first notebook in April using a 12.9-inch display and Windows 10, while Xiaomi Technology will launch a notebook with a sub-13-inch display and a dual-operating system (OS) design using Windows 10 and MIUI.

Both Xiaomi and Huawei were not available for a comment. Microsoft also declined to comment on the rumor.

In any case, the two Chinese vendors will face tough competition from existing PC brand vendors if the report proves true.
