Hulu Plus Begins Android Roll Out
Hulu Plus, the portable subscription-based streaming TV service from NBC Universal, Fox, and Disney-ABC is rolling out the Hulu Plus application on Android smartphones.
At the first phase of the Android rollout, Hulu Plus will be available on six phones, including the Nexus One, Nexus S, HTC Inspire 4G, Motorola Droid II, Motorola Droid X, and the Motorola Atrix, with more to be added within the year.
The free Hulu Plus app is available for download from Android Market, and once installed, Hulu Plus subscribers will be able to enjoy the service on the go. As always, Hulu Plus offers new subscribers one free week to try the service.
Hulu Plus for Android is similar to Hulu Plus on other devices. For $7.99 a month, subscribers get access to all current-season episodes of popular TV shows from ABC, Fox, and NBC as well as movies from Miramax and Criterion Collection.
