LG G Pro 2 to Feature Optical Image Stabilization
LG's upcoming G Pro 2 smartphone, the successor to the LG G Pro, will sport a camera with optical image stabilization, LG has confirmed.
The smartphone, which is set to debut later this month at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, will have a 13-megapixel camera be packed with optical image stabilization (OIS). OIS helps photographers shoot clear and sharp photos by compensating for any shakiness of the shooting device.
The G Pro 2's camera will be also capable of burst mode shooting that can capture 20 photos in a row, all at a resolution of 3,840x2,160 pixels. It will also playback HD video in slow motion.
The feature is already found in other smartphones, including the HTC One, the Nexus 4, and Nokia's Lumia 1020. LG's local rival Samsung Electronics has chosen to focus on delivering mobile devices with cameras packing more pixels, instead of features such as IOS.
