MSI Launches GeForce GTX 680 Twin Frozr III OC Graphics Card

GPUs Apr 12,2012 0

MSI today officially announced the new GTX 680 Twin Frozr /OC graphics card. The card is based on Nvidia's 28nm GeForce GTX 680 GPU, it has 2GB video memory and PCI Express Gen3 support. The new GTX 680 Twin Frozr /OC sports the company's Twin Frozr III thermal design, featuring dual 80mm Propeller Blade fans, a nickel-plated copper base heat sink and SuperPipe technology. MSI claims that this configuration is responsible for the card's low operating temperature noise - 22°C lower temperatures and 10.2dB quieter than the reference design.

In addition the GTX 680 Twin Frozr /OC also supports MSI?s Afterburner overclocking utility for easy tweaking of power and clock settings. Both NVIDIA 3D Vision Surround and 4 display are also supported.
