Mushkin announced the release of high speed PC2-6400 FB-DIMMs for Apple Mac Pro and Xserve systems available in 1GB and 2GB single modules and 2GB and 4GB dual-channel kits. According to Brian Flood, Mushkin product development director, the modules are specified for operation at a CAS latency of 5, even though the slower CAS 6 is also supported.

The DDR2-800 Mac Pro and Xserve FB-DIMMs are immediately available through the mushkin.com web store and authorized resellers and distributors.
