New ASUS ROG Rampage Formula For Gamers

New ASUS ROG Rampage Formula For Gamers

PC components Feb 27,2008 0

The Republic of Gamers, producer of gaming motherboards, has released the new Rampage Formula motherboard. With the Pin-Fin Thermal Module, this motherboard provides quiet, efficient cooling that allows users to enjoy a more stable environment for overclocking. Additionally, the inclusion of the overclocking technology ? CPU Level Up, lets users obtain flexible CPU overclocking even without prior overclocking knowledge.

Asus claims that the new Pin-Fin thermal design breaks the "Boundary-layer" phenomenon for effective airflows and results in better overall thermal performance when compared with traditional stacked-fin heatpipe solutions. It also features an enlarged "heat-exchange" surface area ? allowing the most efficient heat dissipation to occur, and thus achieve the best thermal cooling. What?s more, this new thermal design is able to lower system temperatures at a lower fan speed for reduced noise.

The CPU Level Up feature allows users to upgrade CPU performances without prior overclocking knowledge. Simply pick the processor you need, and the motherboard will do the rest. In just 3 steps (entering BIOS -> choosing the CPU Level Up -> Reboot), this feature will allow you to achieve higher levels of performance.

SupremeFX II also delivers high definition audio. SupremeFX II also provides gamers a special tool to emphasize human voices in games to help make dialogues clearer and more audible.
