New Color TFT-LCD Modules by Mitsubishi

Mitsubishi Electric today launched an 8.4-inch SVGA, 10.4-inch SVGA and a 12.1-inch SVGA color TFT-LCD modules for industrial use. All models feature super-wide viewing angles, wide-ranging operational temperatures and extended-duration LED backlighting. Sales of the 8.4-inch SVGA and 10.4-inch SVGA modules will begin on March 1, and for the 12.1-inch SVGA module on April 1, through Mitsubishi Electric offices worldwide.



The TFT-LCD modules meet the market demands for high brightness (600 cd/m2), high contrast (1,000:1), wide-ranging operational temperatures (from -30 degrees C to 80 degrees C) and wide viewing angles (170-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles) for diverse applications and installations. The displays cover the 72% color gamut on NTSC standards and their LED backlight has a typical operating life of 100,000 hours at an ambient temperature of 25 degrees C.
