New Graphics Cards from MSI
MSI unveiled at Cebit 2006, Hannover Germany its latest graphics cards from the MSI NX7900GTX/GT and MSI NX7600GT Series.
In the NX7900 Series, two new high performance models were unveiled: the NX7900GTX and NX7900GT. On the MSI NX7900GTX-T2D512E, the core clock runs at 650 MHz and the memory clock at 1600 MHz. It delivers a 512MB GDDR3 memory capacity, a 256-bit memory interface and 24 pipelines.
The second model, the MSI NX7900GT-T2D256E has a core memory clock of 450 MHz, a memory clock of 1320 MHz and a 256MB GDDR3 memory capacity. It features a 256-bit memory interface and comes with 24 pipelines.
The MSI NX7600GT-T2D256E that can be seen in the picture above is a mid range model. It has a core clock memory of 560 MHz, a memory clock of 1400 MHz and a GDR3 memory size of 256MB. It comes with a 128-bit memory interface and 12 pipelines.
All new graphics cards incorporate the newest NVIDIA graphics processors and have Integrated HDTV encoder for analogue TV-output (Component, Composite and S-video) up to a 1080i resolution.
Both the NX7900GTX/GT and the NX7600GT series include various technologies such as CineFX 4.0 engine, Microsoft DirectX 9.0, Shader Model 3.0 , and OpenGL 2.0. They also have support for 64-bit floating point texture filtering for high dynamic-range (HDR) lighting effects.
Both series also include the NVIDIA Intellisample 4.0 technology and the NVIDIA PureVideo technology.
