Lenovo has unveiled the Z5s and the Z5 Pro GT smartphones of its Z series in China, with the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT to be the world’s first smartphone with Snapdragon 855 SoC in it. The company also unveiled the S5 Pro GT model.

Besides having the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor on board, the Lenovo Z5 Pro GT comes with a 6.39-inch Super AMOLED Full HD+ display (2,340 x 1,080) and a slider design. It has a dual-camera setup (24MP Sony IMX576 and 16MP Sony IMX519) and another duo at the front, rated at 16MP and 8MP. Additionally, the cameras come with AI-based features.

The device comes in three RAM/ROM options– 6GB/128GB (CNY 2,698), 8GB/256GB (CNY 2,998), and the 12GB/512GB (CNY 4,398).

The smartphone is backed by a 3,350mAh battery and runs Android 9.0 Pie. In addition, it comes with Face Unlock feature and an in-display fingerprint scanner. NFC connectivity, dual nano SIM slots and a 3.5mm headphone jack dongle for the USB-C port are also included.

However, the device does not support some US-friendly LTE bands means this phone is out of the question for a good majority of U.S consumers.

The Lenovo Z5s has a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display with a water drop notch and an aspect ratio rated at 19:5:9. It uses a triple camera setup on the rear side (rated at 16MP f/1.8 + 8MP f/2.4 + 5MP f/2.4) whereas the selfie camera is of 16 MP f/2.0. The smartphone is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor and comes in three RAM/ROM variants: 4GB/64GB (CNY 1,398), 6GB/64GB (CNY 1,598), and 6GB/128GB (CNY 1,898). It is backed by a 3,300mAh battery and runs the latest Android 9.0 Pie. The device also comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, P2i splash-resistant coating, and will be available in Honey Orange, Gray and Titanium Crystal Blue color options.

Lastly, the Lenovo S5 Pro GT, successor to the S5 Pro has a 6.2-inch display with a notch. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC and comes in three RAM/ROM configurations: 4GB/64GB (CNY 1,198), 6GB/64GB (CNY 1,298), and 6GB/128GB (CNY 1,498).

The smartphone has two snappers at the back (12MP and 20MP) and two at the front (20MP and 8MP). It is backed by a 3,500mAh battery, and runs Android 8.1 Oreo. A fingerprint scanner supports Face Unlock feature.
