OCZ Unveils the Exclusive PC2-6400 Platinum DFI Special Series Capable of 1T Command Rate
OCZ Technology Group announced the PC2-6400 Platinum DFI Special Edition, a new series of modules optimized for 1T memory command rate on the new DFI NF590 SLI-M2R motherboard.
With the aim of delivering enthusiasts a different method of attaining high-speed performance results, OCZ developed the first dedicated 1T DDR2 module for AMD AM2 CPUs thanks to the aid of the leading-edge DFI 590.
Rated at 800MHz 4-4-4 1T, the PC2-6400 Platinum DFI Special series is a high speed total solution. Together the DFI NF590 SLI-M2R and PC2-6400 DFI Special Edition offer an unparalleled platform offering for performance-minded gamers and enthusiasts.
"Combining DFI's extreme overclocking ability with OCZ PC2-6400 memory capable of running 1T command at blistering fast 4-4-4 latencies provides todays enthusiast with an alternative way of maximizing their PC's memory performance without the need for huge bus speeds. In fact, for the non-overclocker, just enabling rated timings and settings within the boards bios will have the effect of the memory appearing to run well over 1000MHz," caid Tony Leach, Product Specialist, OCZ Technology Group, Inc.
The PC2-6400 Platinum DFI Special features a platinum mirror XTC (Xtreme Thermal Convection) heatspreader and will be available in 1024MB Modules and 2GB (2x1024MB) dual channel kits. Furthermore, each OCZ PC2-6400 DFI Special module is 100% hand-tested for quality assurance and compatibility and is backed by an OCZ Lifetime Warranty and technical support.
