Pioneer will release next month in japan the BDR-212JBK, an internal Ultra HD Blu-ray (UHD BD) drive for PCs

Priced at about 16,000 yen, the drive supports playback of BD / DVD / CD along with BD/DVD recording on Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10 PC systems.

Other features of the SATA drive include Pioneer's "PUREREAD3 + and "PEAK POWER REDUCER" power saving mode. "PUREREAD 3+ imroves the playability of scratched optical discs.
