Plasmon, the data storage solutions manufacturer, announced this week that it will be exhibiting three new archival and RAID storage products at CeBIT in Hannover. These new products are additions to both the UDO (Ultra Density Optical) archival storage range and the Raidtec Solutions RAID product line. Software partners BridgeHead Software, EASY Software, KOM Networks, QStar Technologies will also be joining Plasmon to demonstrate their data management and archival storage software in combination with Plasmon UDO and Raidtec Solutions products.

Plasmon's newest archival storage solution is the UDO Archive Appliance. The UDO Archive Appliance is a hybrid, tiered storage solution designed to meet the growing need for long-term document retention that complies with regulations for record authenticity.

CeBIT will also see the introduction of two next-generation RAID systems from Plasmon. One will be based on the successful SNAZ platform and the other is an addition to the fibre channel FX series.

"This year's CeBIT is going to be very interesting for Plasmon. Not only are we launching exciting new UDO and Raidtec products, but we have an impressive group of application partners joining us at our stand . BridgeHead, EASY, KOM and QStar," said Steve Tongish, director of marketing (EMEA) at Plasmon. ?As in previous years, these strategic application partners will demonstrate their data management and archival storage software solutions running with our UDO and Raidtec products."

The new products from Plasmon will be showcased at CeBIT between the 9th and the 15th of March 2006 in Hall 1, stand G77. For more information visit plasmon's site at Plasmon.
