Samsung Austin Semiconductor To Invest More Than $1 Billion In Local Facilities
Samsung Austin Semiconductor LLC (SAS) is planning to invest more than $1 billion in its Austin-based chip manufacturing facilities by the first half of 2017.
The investments are geared towared the enhancement of
the company's current System LSI production to meet the demands in the industry for advanced system-on-chip (SoC) products especially for mobile and other electronic devices.
