Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime Arrives At Sprint
Designed for individuals and families who are looking for a smartphone at an affordable price, Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime from Sprint arrives Friday, July 10. Sprint offers three ways to buy Galaxy Grand Prime:
- Well-qualified buyers can get this new smartphone with $0 down, no finance fees and 24 monthly payments of $10 (SRP: $240; service plan required).
- It is available for $29.99 with a two-year service agreement after a $50 mail-in rebate via reward card.
- Galaxy Grand Prime is also available without a contract for $240.

Galaxy Grand Prime is loaded with key smartphone features. It is built on Android 5.1, Lollipop and offers a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and access to the Sprint 4G LTE network. The device features a 5-inch qHD PLS (quarter high-definition) display with 960x540 resolution, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus and flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with a wide-angle selfie lens.
The device measures 5.7 inches x 2.84 inches x 0.34 inches (144.8mm x 72.1mm x 8.6mm) and weighs 5.5 ounces (156 grams).
A 2,600mAh removable lithium-ion battery keeps users connected all day. Galaxy Grand Prime also offers Ultra Power Saving Mode to extend battery life. When the battery charge reaches 10 percent remaining, nonessential apps are shut off to maximize battery life, allowing the user to make and receive calls and send and receive text messages for up to 24 more hours.
