Samsung Galaxy Note 8 to have a Dual Camera Setup
Samsung Electronics will use dual cameras for the upcoming Galaxy Note 8 smartphone, a new report claims.
South Korean ETnews.com quotes "industry sources" to "confirm" that the Galaxy Note 8, set for released next month, will be equipped with two cameras -- the first for the company.
Galaxy Note 8's dual camera setup reportedly uses both optical and telephoto cameras that use a 12MP dual-image pixel sensor and a 13MP sensor, respectively. They are both applied with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) technology and will offer a 2x optical zoom.
Typically, dual camera can shoot optical and zoomed pictures but also recognize the distance of an object.
Samsung declined to comment on the report.
